much does it cost?

need. Whilst Alan Miller offers treatments at a realistic cost his first
concern is to offer first class and lasting work. You will be able to
get an accurate estimate of the cost of the treatments you need, during

What
can be done with my gums?
It should be remembered that healthy gums always look better
than unhealthy gums. To achieve excellent gums oral hygiene is essential,
and can be achieved through regular professional cleaning. Sometimes a
smile might suffer from an unfortunate lip line showing excessive amount
of gum, resulting in an unattractive smile. This can be corrected through
gum surgery prior to other work on the teeth, to enhance the overall cosmetic
effect.
What
are the risks of these treatments?
All treatments carry a small risk. Alan Miller will make
you fully aware of the risks involved in the treatments you are considering,
either when you have the initial consultation, in person; or before you
even arrive, by email and/or phone.
How
long does it take?
Alan Miller employs the latest, cutting-edge, technologies
and has a purpose-made clinic to provide you with the most efficient dentistry
services you'll find anywhere. This means whatever treatments you elect
to have, you can rest assured they will be delivered efficiently. In the
vast majority of cases, this means you will only need one session for
the diagnosis and treatment. That's the whole treatment in one day! In
some circumstances you might need 2-3 sessions-but even then, this can
be fitted over no more than 2-3 days.
What
can be done to change my discoloured teeth?
Teeth discolouring can be caused by a range of reasons: old
composite or amalgam fillings, tooth decay, loss of vitality due to root
canal treatments, staining due to smoking, food and drink and/or some
medications (such as tetracycline). Treatments vary from replacement of
fillings using tooth coloured composite resin or a bonded porcelain or
composite resin inlay. Other effective treatments include bleaching, veneers
and crowns.
Alan
Miller was one of the first practices in Australia to use lasers for bleaching
teeth. Lasers give excellent results in only 1 hour of bleaching, all
done in the clinic. It is painless, and not harmful to teeth in any way.
